Customers using KT mobile network services experienced disruption Tuesday, including credit card transactions.
KT said the Internet service was delayed in parts of southern Seoul, with areas including the Sinsa, Yangjae, Suseo and Seocho wards being affected.
The company did not explain the cause of the latest disruption in Gangnam but said it was in the process of fixing the problem.
KT is currently upgrading its networks to offer better services to customers.
The disruptions come after a fire broke out at KT’s communication building in November 2018 that paralyzed the company’s mobile and Internet services in large parts of the capital for days. (Yonhap)
