The lead singer of the Indonesian pop band Seventeen posted a tearful video on Instagram after two members of the band were killed by a tsunami wave that crashed through the venue where the band played on Saturday.
“We lost our bassist Bani and our road manager Oki,” Riefian Fajarsyah said, according to HuffPost.
Fajarsyah said three members of the band and his wife are still missing.
“The rest are thankfully safe although suffering from injuries and broken bones,” he said. “Please pray so my wife Dylan, Andi, and Herman and Ujang can be found soon.”
The band was performing Saturday night when a wave unexpectedly and suddenly crashed through the venue. At at least 222 people are dead and more than 800 people were injured after the tsunami struck Pandeglang, Serang, and South Lampung in Indonesia. Dozens of people are still missing.
